The new WavePOD module integrates all instrumentation associated with the Wave Bioreactor®: dissolved oxygen, pH, and CO2/O2 gas mixing controls. The WavePOD connects via a digital link to a Wave Bioreactor System2/10EH or System20/50EHT, and its large color touchscreen allows easy access to all parameters. This integration makes it possible to develop complex control schemes such as dissolved oxygen control by automatically varying rocker speed or oxygen concentration supplied to the Cellbag. The WavePOD and Wave Bioreactor form a control cluster providing remote data acquisition and supervisory control. Multiple configurations are available for insect cell, mammalian cell, perfusion or cell therapy applications. PODs are available with left- or right-facing probe connections for ease of use.
