GeneChoice’s Transfectol™-LS Kit for large scale mammalian cell transient transfection is optimized for the expression of recombinant proteins, using HEK293 cells as the host cell. The kit provides a straightforward, cost-effective means to express recombinant proteins in serum-free suspension cultures of HEK293 cell lines. This kit is scalable from 50ml shake flask cultures to 100L bioreactor cultures. The Transfectol™-LS Kit includes a filter-sterilized nutrient mixture, dilution buffers, and a non-lipid transfection reagent which condenses DNA into positively charged particles that bind to and enter the cells with minimal cytotoxicity.
