Human Cell Expressed Stem Cells
Apollo Cytokine Research has a range of human cytokines and growth factors produced from human cells that are ideal for stem cell research. Apollo hcx™ proteins are eminently suited for the expansion and/or differentiation of either human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) or adult human stem cells. Advantages of hcx proteins include: Human-specific glycosylation; Longer half-life in culture; and LPS-free. Experiments show that Apollo’s glycosylated G-CSF^hcx and SCF^hcx promoted significantly more cell proliferation (up to 53 % higher: p<0.0001) than E. coli expressed G-CSF and SCF when used in combination to expand haematopoietic stem cells.
