Aurora Biomed introduces the VERSA Mini PCR Setup workstation: A small automated liquid handling workstation, designed to perform virtually every task associated with setting up PCR reactions. Whether processing a small batch or up to a thousand reactions a day, the system can automate the process with high precision and accuracy. This workstation can therefore conserve expensive reagents, remove all repetitive pipetting protocols and completely eliminate concerns associated with volumetric variations caused due to handling errors. The workstation is extremely easy to use and configured to automatically prepare master mixes, add DNA template and load samples into reaction plates. Besides PCR applications, the unit is also capable of performing generic non-PCR tasks such as restriction digestion, serial dilution, cherry picking, plate reformatting and plate replication.
