EMD Biosciences’ ProteoExtract® Subcellular Proteome Extraction Kit, Mini
The new ProteoExtract® Subcellular Proteome Extraction Kit, Mini (Cat No 539791) from EMD Biosciences is a remarkable tool for fast and reproducible extraction. The kit is a smaller version of the original ProteoExtract® Subcellular Proteome Extraction Kit (Cat. No. 539790), and is used for the differential extraction of proteins from mammalian cells according to their subcellular localization. The sequential extraction steps yield proteins in their native state, making it highly suited for demanding proteomics applications as 1D and 2D gel electrophoresis, immunoblotting, enzyme activity assays, and protein microarrays. The new, smaller kit size provides reagents for 10 reactions (3 - 5 x 106 cells or 25 - 50 mg tissue per reaction), which is convenient for research labs doing occasional proteome extractions.
