PGC introduces amber light barrier polypropylene centrifuge tubes by Greiner. These sterile tubes are ideal for light sensitive materials and light sensitive reactions. The amber pigment provides a substantial reduction or elimination of light penetration to tube contents. The tubes can be purchased by the pack or the case and come in 15 mL or 50 mL sizes.
RCF for 15 mL tubes: non-supported rotor, 3500 g; supported rotor, 15000 g. RCF for 50 mL tubes: non-supported rotor, 3200 g; supported rotor, 7000 g.
