Epitomics Tandem™ IHC Staining and Detection Kits
from
Epitomics, Inc.
Description
Epitomics announces the launch of their TandemTM IHC kits enabling researchers to perform double IHC staining by pairing an Epitomics rabbit monoclonal antibody with any suitable mouse monoclonal antibody of choice.
Double staining is a technique used to evaluate the expression of two distinct antigens in the same tissue sample. The advent of Rabbit Monoclonal antibodies (RabMAbs) has opened up the possibility of performing reliable and clean dual IHC staining of formalin fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue samples.
Until now, the majority of staining protocols involved biotinylated primary antibodies or using a combination of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies. These procedures generally provide inconsistent staining with high background. RabMAbs can be easily paired with mouse monoclonal antibodies in a straightforward procedure that results in beautiful, clean dual labeled samples.
Epitomics Tandem IHC Staining kits contain all the required reagents to perform dual color staining of paraffin embedded tissue sections and are offered with an optimised rabbit monoclonal antibody that has been specifically tested for use in dual color staining applications. Also available are Tandem IHC RabMAb Detection Kits which are provided without a rabbit primary antibody allowing customers to choose from our larger collection of rabbit monoclonals and perform customized pairings. The mouse monoclonal, provided by the customer can be any IHC suitable mouse monoclonal.
In addition to Tandem IHC Dual Staining kits Epitomics offers single color IHC staining kits as well as a large collection of well characterized rabbit monoclonal antibodies for a variety of important cellular signaling pathways, cytoskeleton proteins, cancer and other disease related markers.
