Panorama™ Ab Microarray - Cell Signaling

Sigma-Aldrich
Description
The Panorama™ Ab Microarray-Cell Signaling is designed for studying the relative level of protein expression in cell or tissue extracts. The array contains 224 different antibodies each spotted in 2 equal concentrations on nitrocellulose coated glass slides. These antibodies represent several biological pathways including apoptosis, cell cycle, neurobiology, cytoskeleton, signal transduction and nuclear proteins. The expression of a protein in an extract is confirmed when it binds to its corresponding antibody. This binding is detected by a sensitive fluorescence based signal that is created by directly labeling the proteins in the cell extracts with a fluorescent dye. Each antibody is tested for its ability to bind proteins when spotted on the array, using different biological samples.
The array can be used for comparing protein expression profile between two samples (testvs.referencesamples). Each sample is labeled with a different dye (Cy3 or Cy5) and the 2 samples are applied simultaneously on the array. The expression profile of each sample (Cy3 and Cy5) is recorded individually and compared.
The Panorama™ Ab Microarray - Cell Signaling has several important advantages:
- Antibodies are validated for array format
- Easy and fast protocol
- Low background staining
- Superb spot morphology for reliable data analysis
- Convenient Cy3/Cy5 microarray format
- No expensive or unusual equipment
