Position: Web Application Developer
Biocompare is a growing and profitable B2B media company focused on life science products, instruments, technologies, and the scientific community. Biocompare is currently seeking an experienced web developer to join a small development team.
    Responsibilities will include:
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain data-driven web applications using .NET in a Windows Server environment
  • Port existing classic ASP code to ASP.NET
  • Interact with co-workers and customers to determine business requirements
  • Document and provide support for new and existing applications
    Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience building web applications - at least 2 years with ASP.NET
  • Exposure to classic ASP
  • Good SQL skills, using Microsoft SQL Server
  • Proficiency with HTML and javascript
  • Experience managing a project team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join the Biocompare team. The ideal candidate will have a natural, consultative sales approach and be pro-active in driving revenues and increasing our client base.     Responsibilities Include:
  • Proactively prospect, qualify, and manage an account list

  • A natural, consultative sales approach

  • Positive and team-oriented sales professional
  • Strong organizational and analytic skills and the ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)

  • Excellent communication and strong analytical skills
  • Successful account management or customer service experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Life Science products a definite plus
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Excellent Work and/or Academic References
