| Position: Web Application Developer
|
Biocompare is a growing and profitable B2B media company focused on life science products, instruments, technologies, and the scientific community. Biocompare is currently seeking an experienced web developer to join a small development team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop, deploy, and maintain data-driven web applications using .NET in a Windows Server environment
- Port existing classic ASP code to ASP.NET
- Interact with co-workers and customers to determine business requirements
- Document and provide support for new and existing applications
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience building web applications - at least 2 years with ASP.NET
- Exposure to classic ASP
- Good SQL skills, using Microsoft SQL Server
- Proficiency with HTML and javascript
- Experience managing a project team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exposure to biological sciences including molecular biology, immunology, or biotechnology is a plus. Benefits include medical and dental PPO choices, stock options, and a 401K.

- Successful account management or customer service experience preferred
- Familiarity with Life Science products a definite plus
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
