Description
: Flexible Assay Composer and Task Scheduler FACTS is Tecan‘s software to automate and schedule life science applications on GENESIS WORKSTATION, GENESIS Freedom and TRAC systems. You can also use FACTS together with a Robotic Manipulator Arm (RoMa) to upgrade your Tecan RSP to a GENESIS WORKSTATION.

FACTS controls all the components of the robotic system, simplifying procedures from high-throughput screening to nucleic acid extraction. Its dynamic scheduler gives the system maximum flexibility and robustness.

In the FACTS Process Manager with its Outlook style interface processes can be defined by simply dragging icons onto the workarea. After definition the user can simulate processes with the Prescheduler. The FACTS Explorer allows easy management of the FACTS database as well as configuration of all devices on the robotic system. The FACTS Master Control Program lets the user define and execute methods on the robotic system as well as monitoring the progress of processes via a Gantt chart.

: GEMINI is Tecan's pipetting software for life science applications on the GENESIS RSP, GENESIS Freedom and the GENESIS WORKSTATION instruments including the Te-MO multichannel pipettor.

The intuitive software enables the user the simple graphical configuration of the system and writing of pipetting scripts. With the powerful scripting language the most flexible and complex protocols can be created.

Carriers and devices that are used in the pipetting script are displayed on the graphical representation of the worktable that can be set up via simple drag&drop actions. Free customizable toolbars offer commands that range from simple pipetting instructions to loops, variables and the control of devices like Tecan readers and incubators. The pipetting protocol is displayed in the script editor where instructions can be modified, added or removed.
