Description
The Radial Arm-Maze has been used extensively in evaluating spatial learning and memory. The apparatus consists of 12 equidistantly-spaced arms radiating from a small circular central platform. The design ensures that after checking for food at the end of each arm the rat is forced to return to the central platform before making another choice. The rat always has 12 possible options. Arms are 10cm wide and 50cm long with 13cm high walls. This maze is engineered to work seamlessly with the ANY-maze behavioral tracking software. For more information, please see our website.
