First digitally controlled paw pressure meter. The unit allows the user to attain data for analgesic drug testing via the Randall Selitto method on mice and rats.
IITC’s Electronic von Frey has become the standard for pain and sensory measurement! Often duplicated, only the IITC EVF measures and records pain and sensory thresholds accurately as reported in numerous published papers.
This Plethysmometer (Paw Volume) Meter serves to measure the effectiveness of anti-inflammatory agents to reduce edemic conditions in mice and rats. In use, the paw is inserted into water, contained in a special water cell of which the pressure is changed due to the immersion.
