Description
The Model 2000 Hybridization Incubator is designed for laboratories that process a limited number of membranes, have limited space or budget or require multiple units operating at different temperatures. Ideal for crowded laboratories, the compact Model 2000 oven occupies less than 1.5 sq. ft. of bench space and can be stacked for additional space savings. The oven uses a high energy heating element with a fan that brings the chamber to the desired temperature in minutes. The precision heat controller effectively regulates the temperature to ± 0.10°C and can be toggled to display either the set or actual temperature. The rotator when activated moves at a fixed 6 RPM and is controlled with a three position switch (on, off, jog) that can be used to momentarily advance the rotator to add or remove tubes. The standard rotator provided with the unit holds up to four long (300mm) or eight short (150mm) glass tubes. One complimentary 35x300mm glass tube with cap is provided with the system.
