Description
SBF-Cl is a water-soluble fluorescent-labeling reagent for thiol compounds. It selectively reacts with thiol groups to generate highly fluorescent products. The SBF-thiol adducts have absorption maximum at 385 nm and fluorescence maximum at 515 nm. In aqueous solutions, SBF-Cl does not readily react with amines.
