Avidin, FITC conjugated/tagged
from
Invitrogen
Description
Avidin is chromatographically purified from egg white. The extinction coefficient , E(1%) at 280nm is 15.5.The product is in 10 mM phosphate-buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 1% bovine serum albumin, 0.05% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. Avidin (from egg white) is conjugated with FITC. The conjugate is purified by molecular sieving and is completely free of unbound FITC. FITC-Avidin can be used for the detection or localization of biotinylated biomolecules.
