Description
Plate CHAMELEON represents a new concept in multilabel detection instruments. Compact design houses up to 6 integrated technologies providing a powerful and flexible platform for the broadest spectrum of microplate applications with excellent sensitivity in all of them. Applications may include e.g. cell signaling and viability, enzyme kinetics, toxicity and drug screening, study of protein structures and functions, immunoassays, protein and nucleic acid quantification, gene expression, detection ATP or reactive oxygen species and many more.
The technologies include Liquid Scintillation Counting, Luminescence (Glow, Flash), Fluorescence Intensity (up to 850 nm), Time Resolved Fluorescence, Fluorescence Polarization and Absorbance (230 nm – 1000 nm).
Ingenious optical design facilitate not only the broadest variety of applications, but also the highest sensitivity in all detection modes, such as TRF sensitivity down to 5 amol Eu/well, luminescence detection limit less than 1 amol ATP/well and LSC efficiency above 50 % for H3.
Plate CHAMELEON is able to read standard size plate formats from 6 to 384 wells and PCR plates using all 6 technologies. Reading of fluorescence up to 850nm and shaking are standard features. Built-in injectors and temperature control are available as optional items making Chameleon an ideal instrument for monitoring both fast and slow kinetic reactions. All Plate CHAMELEON instruments support multiwavelength measurements facilitating BRET, FRET and Time Resolved FRET assays.
Instrument is controlled by easy-to-use MikroWin 2000 Lite instrument control and data acquisition software. The Lite version can be upgraded to 21CRF part 11 compatible MikroWin 2000 Full version, including also advanced data reduction functions.
