Description
DyLight 680 Fluors are spectrally distinct trisulfonated far-red and near-infrared fluorescent-labeling reagents. The DyLight 680 Fluor emit near 700 nm . These fluors are compatible with laser- and filter-based instruments and well-suited for the 700 channel of the LI-COR Odyssey® and the LI-COR Aerius Infrared Imaging Systems.
The maleimide groups react predominantly with free sulfhydryls at pH 6.5-7.5, forming a stable thioether bond. At pH 7, the maleimide group is ~1,000 times more reactive toward a free sulfhydryl than to an amine.1 At pH values > 7.5, reactivity toward primary amines increases and hydrolysis of the maleimide group can occur.
