Description
Sectioning of any rat or mouse embryo (paraffin or frozen) at any embryonic stage in sagittal or coronal orientation. Embryos can be sectioned at any area to include the organ of interest in each section. Service includes harvesting embryos from time-pregnant animals, processing for embedding in Paraffin or frozen blocks, sectioning at a thickness of 5-10 microns, and mounting sections on slides treated for adhesion. Investigator select embryonic stages, procedures of tissue preparation including fixation, thickness of tissue sections, number of tissues per slide, and quantity of slides. We can also section embryos (fixed/unfixed or in blocks) provided by the customers.
