Non-invasive instrument for measuring rodent blood pressure in restrained, warmed animals. Comes complete with accessories for the rat (8 mm pulse pickup, 13 mm pressure cuf, and 50 mm rat restrainer
A unique feature of this instrument is a precalibrated cylinder piston arrangement to supply the cuff inflation pressure. The position of the piston defines the pressure in the cuff, so there is no need for periodic recalibration of a pressure transducer.
Another unique features is the graphic display panel, showing in graphic form the blood pulsations distal to the cuff and the cuff pressure. The user can define the point to be selected as systolic and dyastolic pressure.
Full line of accessries are available, includiing cuff sizes, scanners, and scanner/warmers.
A serial port and an analog pulse output of pulsations and presure provide connections to data collection equipment.
