Description
Oligonucleutide purity has an enormous impact on the speed and accuracy of genotyping assays. In fact, purity is essential to consistent, reliable high-throughput analysis.
Oligonucleotides (oligos) that contain contaminants result in a multitude of peaks, rather than a clean single peak. Whenever contaminants are present, cost-efficiency and time-efficiency are compromised. Data is erroneous; costly experiments must be repeated; and mislabeled oligos must be identified and confirmed.
By incorporating the accuracy and speed of MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry, the ease and flexibility of the SpectroCHIP, and the "on-the-fly" analysis by the MassARRAY RT software, SEQUENOM has developed MassARRAY OligoCHECK RT system, the most accurate method for oligonucleotide quality control available.
