Enhanced with automated teaching methods, MassARRAY® RT software automatically aligns and calibrates SEQUENOM’s SpectroCHIP and provides smart rastering of DNA samples in real time without user intervention. Smart rastering dramatically improves sample efficiency and reduces individual analysis times for improved data quality and sample throughput.
For automated, individual genotype calling:
- Eliminates tedious manual calling of genotypes and enables increased multiplexing efficiency
- Gathers the time-of-flight information in real time and applies stringent algorithms to provide accurate, automated genotype calling
- “On-the-fly” data analysis allows genotyping calls to be made in less than two seconds for most standard assays, reducing both user intervention and keeping analysis times to a minimum
For automated, quantitative allele frequency calling: - Calculates area under the peak for each allele and provides allele ratios and frequencies
- Corrects for heterzygote skew on past and present data sets
