The Alexa Fluor phalloidins are simply the best fluorescent F-actin stains ever produced. This Alexa Fluor 633 phalloidin produces a bright cytoskeletal staining pattern with far-red–fluorescence that is easily distinguished from the emissions of most other fluorophores. Used at nanomolar concentrations, phallotoxins are convenient probes for labeling, identifying and quantitating F-actin in formaldehyde-fixed and permeabilized tissue sections, cell cultures or cell-free experiments.
