Description
The ProtoArray™ Human Protein Microarray is an advanced high content functional protein microarray that enables you to scan thousands of proteins for biochemical interactions in as little as one day. Version 2.0 of the ProtoArray™ Human Protein Microarray contains approximately 3000 human proteins representing multiple gene families arrayed in duplicate on a 1 inch x 3 inch nitrocellulose (nc) coated glass slide. Each slide is labeled with a unique barcode for easy tracking.
The ProtoArray™ Human Protein Microarray is designed for maximum protein functionality. Proteins (>93% from Invitrogen's Ultimate ORF™ Collection*) are expressed as N-terminal GST fusion proteins using a baculovirus expression system. All proteins are purified under non-denaturing conditions and printed at +4°C to preserve native structure and function.

ProtoArray™ Prospector is a free data analysis software tool that provides rapid interpretation of protein-protein interaction and kinase substrate identification experiments using ProtoArray™ Microarrays. ProtoArray™ Prospector is available at www.invitrogen.com/protoarray. Each ProtoArray™ Human Protein Microarray nc v2.0 contains approximately 3,000 unique human proteins arrayed in duplicate on a 1 inch x 3 inch nitrocellulose-(nc) coated glass slide. Store for up to 6 months at -20°C.
ProtoArray™ PPI Buffer Module A contains 30 ml of 30% BSA and 400µl 1 M DTT. The ProtoArray™ PPI Buffer Module B contains blocking and probing buffers 4 Hybrislip™ cover slips and 2 hybridization chambers.
ProtoArray™ Mini-Biotinylation Kit contains 100 µg of Biotin-XX, sulfosuccinimidyl ester, sodium salt, 50 µg BSA, and 20 ng biotinylated BSA. The ProtoArray™ Biotinylation Purification Module contains the purification resin in storage buffer, 4 spin columns, and 8 collection tubes. The ProtoArray" Biotinylation Assessment Module contains 20 µl streptavidin AP and 5 ml AP substrate and buffers.
Each ProtoArray™ Microarray PPI Complete Kit includes 2 ProtoArray™ Control Protein Microarrays and the Array Control Protein (Biotinylated V5-tagged calmodulin kinase). Store the microarray and Array Control Protein at -20°C. The complete kits include either 30 µl (2 mg/ml) Alexa Fluor¤ 647 streptavidin conjugate or 80 µl (0.5 mg/ml) Anti-V5-Alexa Fluor® 647 Antibody for detection of the labeled protein probe.
Store the ProtoArray™ Human Protein Control Microarrays and Buffer Module A at -20°C. Store Buffer Module B, the Mini-Biotinylation Kit, the Biotinylation Purification Module, and the Biotinylation Assessment Module at +4°C. All components are stable for 6 months when properly stored.
