Description
The PARAGON™ DNA Microarray QC Stain Kit allows you to quickly check the consistency of DNA spotting on commercial or homemade cDNA or oligonucleotide microarrays. With sensitivity of 1 pg of DNA per spot and a linear range of detection from 10 to 100 pg of DNA per spot the SYBR® 555 nucleic acid stain provided in the kit is also useful for comparing the relative amount of DNA in spots on microarray slides. Use the results to check the quality of one or more slides from a run or to eliminate low-level or uneven spots from subsequent analysis. The PARAGON™ DNA Microarray QC Stain Kit also includes a DNA microarray control slide that is configured with three identical dilution series of a 1 kb double-stranded DNA fragment with each spot in the series containing approximately 1 to 160 pg of DNA.
