IITC’s easy to use Electronic von Frey (ElectrovonFrey) has become the standard for pain and sensory measurement! Often duplicated, only the IITC EVF measures and records pain and sensory thresholds accurately as reported in numerous published papers (see below a sampling). Supplied with 15 flexible vonFrey hairs and rigid tips for measuring allodynia. • This unit finally eliminiates the need to to manually calculate test results when measuring either with the flexible von Frey hairs or with the rigid tips. Tips are reusable and additional can be ordered as well. A clean efficinet system for anyone looking to measure allodynia on any test subject. • The world’s first Electronic von Frey to assess mechanical allodynia with rigid tips (threshold) & “Supertips™” flexible von Frey hairs (von Frey monofilaments) for sensory testing. • The electronic unit now has the capability of testing not only the Electronic von Frey method but also Plethysmometer (Paw Volume) and the perform the Randall Selitto test but now readouts are digitally recorded. • The latest version on the Model 2390 series Electrovonfrey enables the user to plug up to 3 probes into a single unit. Multiple users have the ability to use one single unit for multiple studies. • The mesh stands are now available with 16" legs for ease of viewing when doing the von Frey test.
