NGF 2.5S Murine Natural an Tilde26-kDa subunit of the 7S NGF complex is the 2.5S subunit responsible for most of the biological activities of NGF. The 2.5S subunit promotes nerve growth and maintenance of adrenergic neurons in vitro. This preparation of NGF 2.5S is purified from the submaxillary glands of male mice and is supplied at a concentration of 100 microg/ml in 10 mM sodium acetate (pH 5.0).
