Description

The InnoCyte™ α2, α3, α5 Integrin Detection Kit is designed for the determination of relative levels of α2, α3, and α5 integrins on the cell surface (integrin profiling). The kit provides a rapid method for assessing integrin cell adhesion receptors and can be used in place of flow cytometry or immunoprecipitation. The kit is supplied with a black 96-well strip plate pre-coated with anti-mouse IgG. Antibodies specific for α2, α3, and α5 integrins are captured in the wells of the plate and cells are subsequently incubated in the wells containing the integrin antibodies. Following a brief wash step the cells are labeled with the green fluorescent dye, calcein-AM. Relative cell attachment is assessed using a fluorescence plate reader. Includes a Goat Anti-Mouse IgG-Coated 96-Well Plate, Anti-α2 Integrin, Anti-α3 Integrin, Anti-α5 Integrin, Assay Diluent, Calcein-AM Solution, D-PBS, and a user protocol.
