The GeneAmp® PCR Reagent Kit and Core Reagents with AmpliTaq® DNA Polymerase contains all of the reagents needed for PCR optimization of target DNAs. Besides GeneAmp® 10X PCR Buffer and GeneAmp® dNTPs, the kit includes AmpliTaq® DNA Polymerase, the most thoroughly characterized enzyme available for the PCR process.
Also included in the Reagent Kit are two primers and a full-length lambda control DNA template specific for PCR amplification of a 500 bp DNA target. The performance of the GeneAmp® PCR Reagent Kit and Core Reagents is guaranteed for PCR amplification when it is used with a GeneAmp® PCR instrument system according to the protocol provided. Amplification of at least 105-fold of the lambda control DNA target will be routinely achieved.
