Protein expression comparisons between 2D gels is not only time-consuming it is also highly complex. However, one approach that has been used to differentiate between samples is to consider the application of different dyes to the gel. Each stain is applied to the sample and spots are specifically detected at different wavelengths. - Cross stain analysis (CSA) supports multiplexed gel analysis and differential staining protocols such as fluorescence staining with Sypro.
