Description
The MetaFluor® Imaging System is designed for single or dual wavelength intracellular ion measurements such as calcium or pH, and supports FURA-2, BCECF, INDO-1, and other common ratiometric indicators. For easy viewing and analysis, MetaFluor provides simultaneous display of the original wavelengths, the ratio images, graphs of intensities, ratios, ion concentrations and non-ratiometric images such as brightfield or phase-contrast. Two different ratiometric indicators can be imaged and measured at the same time. The system can be configured to control shutters for minimal cellular exposure to the excitation illumination, reducing photo damage to samples. MetaFluor supports a variety of image storage devices for archiving original image data, facilitating post-experiment processing and analysis.
