Description
A structurally unique activator of PKC in whole cells or in purified enzyme preparations (Kd=2.5 µM) which is equipotent with dioleoylglycerol. Since it does not possess hydrolyzable esters of fatty acids, it represents a new stable, persistent PKC activator.
