Description
The SPR-2 is an analytical biosensor system for the analysis of biomolecular interactions. The system enables molecular binding events to be measured in real time using surface plasmon resonance, eliminating the need for detection labels. This fully automated instrument and related consumables are specifically designed for the fast, simple, and precise label-free analysis of the interactions of proteins, nucleic acids, and chemical compounds. The SPR-2 is ideally suited for determining the kinetics and affinity of molecular interactions, as well as binding specificity, concentration, and interaction thermodynamics. The dual-sensor design of the SPR-2 allows for simultaneous active and control analysis, and the continuous flow sample delivery ensures the widest range of application capabilities. The autosampler of the SPR-2 can be configured to use 96-well microtiter plates or up to 34 sample vials.
