Accurate calibration for Infrared emiting thermal stimualtion instruments such as the Plantar Analgesia Instrument or the Tail Flick Analgesia Instrument.
Incandescent light bulbs gradually lose light output for a given current as they age. A constant current does not imply a fixed light output. Reliably consistent light output, and hence heat generation rate, can only be done with occasionally recalibration to a fixed standard with a Radiometer.
