Description
Mouse size sliding doors in a mouse size step through Chamber
Attractive implementation of the classical step-through passive avoidance test. Rodents will normally step through from a bright chamber to a dark one if a door opens between them. This instrument features a novel movement mechanism for opening elevator style sliding doors. The controller includes an 8 pole scrambler for shock delivered through the grid floor. Shock trains the animal to avoid the natural response. The instrument is programmed and data collected via the control box.
Includes the avoidance animal chamber, the microprocessor controller, and the cable. May be used with one controller and two boxes for fast operation, rotating between animals acclimated to one chamber then the other.
