FLUOstar OPTIMA F - Microplate Fluorimeter
BMG LABTECH's FLUOstar OPTIMA F is an ungradeable entry level fluorescence microplate reader for fluorescence intenstiy, time-resolved fluorescence and FRET-based assays.
The FLUOstar OPTIMA F is perfect for life science assays including:
- Calcium screening
- DNA quantitation
- G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) studies
- Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC)

By integrating a high intensity xenon flash lamp with sophisticated light guide technology the FLUOstar OPTIMA F can cover the wavelength range from 240 to 740 nm or 240 to 900 nm for excitation and emission.

The FLUOstar OPTIMA F, as well as the entire OPTIMA line, is backed up by an intuitive Reader Control Software and powerful MARS Data Analysis Software. MARS has full graphing capability, FDA 21 CFR part 11 compliance, and a full suite of bioanalysis functions built in: one click calculations of Z', S/N, %CVs, standard deviations, well-scanning visualization, Lineweaver-Burk plots, IC50/EC50, DNA quantitation, enzyme kinetic calculations, Michaelis-Menten kinetic evaluations, Delta F analysis, regressions, unknown calculations, undilution features, and much, much more. And the comprehensive MARS software package is included with every OPTIMA reader, even in the most basic units.
Due to the modular concept of BMG LABTECH's OPTIMA series, you can upgrade your microplate reader at any time. If the need for luminescence or UV/Vis absorbance arrives, have your FLUOstar OPTIMA F easily upgraded. Should you require Simultaneous Dual Emission or fluorescence polarization detection in the future, your FLUOstar OPTIMA F can easily be upgraded to a POLARstar OPTIMA.
