Description
The Stbl3™ E. coli strain is designed for cloning direct repeats found in lentiviral expression vectors. Unlike TOP10 E. coli, these cells reduce the frequency of unwanted homologous recombinations of long terminal repeats (LTRs) found in ViraPower™ Lentiviral and other retroviral vectors. Also, Stbl3™ cells show greater stability than SURE® cells, greatly increasing the efficiency of lentiviral cloning.
