Description
The Open Field apparatus is broadly used to assess exploratory behavior and validated for use in the measurement of anxiety related behaviors. The Open Maze for rats has a 100cm square base with 35cm high walls. An optional black quad divider (part 60210) may be used to devide a single maze into 4 50x50cm enclosures. Circular open fields are also available. This maze is engineered to work seamlessly with the ANY-maze behavioral tracking software.
