Description
The TOPO Walker Kit is specifically designed to fill in the gaps that develop when sequencing long stretches of DNA. The kit utilizes Vaccinia virus topoisomerase I to join a 58 bp linker containing primer binding sites to the unknown end of a desired DNA fragment, allowing subsequent PCR amplification. The resulting PCR products can be sequenced directly or cloned for further analysis and manipulation.
