Description
The InsectSelect™ technology facilitates constitutive stable or transient expression of recombinant proteins in insect cell lines. pMIB/V5-His A, B, and C are 3.6 kb vectors that use the InsectSelect™ technology to allow expression and secretion of your protein of interest in insect cell lines. The pMIB/V5-His vector contains the following features: OpIE2 promoter for high-level, constitutive expression of the gene of interest; Honeybee melittin secretion signal (HBM) for directing secreted expression of the gene of interest; OpIE1 promoter for expression of the blasticidin resistance gene; Blasticidin resistance gene for selection of stable cell lines;EM7 promoter for expression of ampicillin and blasticidin resistance in E. coli;Ampicillin resistance gene for selection of transformants in E. col; C-terminal peptide containing the V5 epitope and 6xHis tag for detection and purification of your protein of interest.

The pMIB/V5-His Vector Kit contains 20 µg each of supercoiled, lyophilized pMIB/V5-His A, B, and C vectors, pMIB/V5-His/CAT control vector, and 2 µg each of the OpIE2 Forward and Reverse Sequencing primers. Store at -20°C. All reagents are guaranteed stable for 6 months when properly stored.
