Description

Carboxy-H2DCFDA is a cell-permeant indicator for reactive oxygen species that is nonfluorescent until the acetate groups are removed by intracellular esterases and oxidation occurs within the cell. The dye has two negative charges at physiological pH allowing for better retention by cells as compared to the H2DCFDA (D399).
