Description
For use with T4 Polynucleotide Kinase for labeling of 5' ends (5' phosphate ends) of nucleic acids. In the exchange reaction T4 Polynucleotide Kinase transfers the 5' phosphate group from DNA to ADP and subsequently transfers the Gamma-phosphate of ATP to the free 5' hydroxyl group to rephosphorylate the DNA.
