Monodisperse, magnetic particles (2.8 ìm in diameter) with covalently bound streptavidin. For use with biotinylated nucleic acids, biotinylated antibodies or other biotinylated targets.The binding capacity of the beads is DNA fragment length dependent. One mg beads typically binds 700 pmoles of free biotin, 200 pmoles of biotinylated oligonucleotides (single stranded), 5 - 10 ìg of biotinylated antibody and 5 pmoles of a 2 - 4 kb double stranded DNA fragment. Supplied at 10 ml/ml, also available as 10 ml (Cat. No 112.06) and 100 ml (Cat. No 602.10).
