Description
The Stacker is a modular attachment that can be used with BMG LABTECH microplate readers to increase throughput. The Stacker can automatically feed 50 plates for great improvements in speed and automation, and has "continuous load" feature. The optional bar code reader is designed to read bar codes from several positions on the microplate.
Software package
The Control Software operates the Stacker / reader combination: the Stacker is controlled via a serial interface and the reader is controlled via a DDE or ActiveX interface. The definition of the measurement protocol as well as the configuration of the reader is done by using the Reader Control Software. You define the batch operation, e.g. the test name and number of plates.
BMG LABTECH's Stacker allows users to concentrate on running assays and not on managing plates.
