Description
The WASP 2 is the most widely used spiral plater and eliminates the need for serial dilutions, offering a reduction in cost per test and standardized counting methods. Fully microprocessor controlled, WASP 2 allows depostions onto 90mm and 150mm plates in logarithmic volumes of 10ul, 50ul, 100ul, and 200ul and a linear deposition of up to 400ul. The stylus arm dispenses liquid sample in a continuously decreasing volume, equivalent to a thousand-fold dilution. WASP 2 can load sample, inoculate plate, and then clean the stylus with one key stroke. WASP 2 has an automatic cleaning cycle.
