Custom IHC Services: All custom protein expression-profiling studies are confidential, are performed on a fee-for-service basis without royalties or milestone payments, and include the following:

-Study Design: We lend our extensive consultation experience in designing a scientifically sound yet cost effective study plan to localize your target.



-Antibody selection and validation: We help you find antibodies to your target and test them in IHC to ensure they will produce quality data.


-Tissue selection and validation: We have millions of normal and diseased human tissues, animal tissues, and TMAs. We can work with client-supplied tissues as well. All tissues are tested for antigen preservation before use in a study.


-Immunohistochemistry: Antibodies are used under optimized conditions to immunolabel the selected tissues. Double labeling is available to confirm the identity of the expressing cell type or to demonstrate co-localization.


-Interpretation: Immunolabeled slides are interpreted by a LifeSpan human or veterinary pathologist with expertise in reading both IHC and pathology.


-Detailed Reporting: Study results are reported via a convenient and secure online interface. Report formats are customized depending upon the level of interpretation required, but all include a detailed summary written by the pathologist.
