Description
These Semi-Dry-Blotter offer rapid transfer times for DNA, RNA and Proteine, typically 15 to 30 minutes. Both units can be used for all blotting-types: western, southern and northern via uncomplicated buffer and set up procedures. Gel thickness from 0,25 to 10 mm are compatible without the need for additional equipment. Both units are compatible with their respective omniPAGE systems.
Semi-Dry blotting use only very low buffer volumes, typically only a few milliliter. The screw down lid can be removed complete. The screws secure the blot sandwich and allows complete control of preasure ensuring even transfer. The electrodes comprising platinum coated anode and stainless steel cathode, will exhibit practically no corrosion and so provide many years of trouble free use.
