The attachment factor was used in order for the bovine brain endothelial cells to attach to the cell culture items being used. The goal for the experiment was to use the cells for transport studies, but we needed the cells to grow and divide so we could use them, so we needed to plate the cells in flasks and in order to have them grow, the cell culture items needed to be coated with the attachment. The reason for selecting this attachment factor is that this is what the company we bought the cells from recommended. This product works fine for those cells.

Protocol Overview

Add the solution to the cell culture product that is being used. Then wait for 30 minutes to 1 hr at room temp or 37 degrees. Then take it off and add media and cells.
