I am studying recognition of viruses in mouse macrophages during infection with RNA viruses. For this experiment, I was determining the cellular composition of spleens following infection with West Nile virus by flow cytometry. I was testing to see if a specific Pattern Recognition Receptor was required for macrophage polarization during infection. For this experiment, I needed a CD3 antibody that I could use as part of my panel to gate out CD3 positive cells. I chose this CD3 antibody from Tonbo because it was in the correct color (the 700 channel) and I had good success with Tonbo antibodies in the past. They offered the clone, the color, and the amount of antibody that I was looking for at a reasonable price. Their shipping was fast and reliable, so the antibody was in the lab when I needed it.
