We use this kit in conjunction with Bio-Rad's sso sybr green mix and the CFX connect. Standard qPCR from RNA isolated from cultured or sorted cells, or powdered tissue.

Super easy instructions-theraml cycler part is only ~30 minutes. You can also use a lot of RNA with this prep which is nice because sometimes from sorted cells we have a really low concentration.

Keep everything on ice!

Results Summary

always great cDNA if I start with high quality RNA. Works well even with small amounts of RNA to start, curves always look great with qPCR. Picture is of a beta actin curve from qPCR.

The Bottom Line

Super fast, really simple, allows you to use up to 16ul of RNA which is nice because it allows you to get quality data even when your RNA concentration is low. Love it!
