This DNA standard marker is used in agarose DNA gels to help determine the sizes of unknown DNA sequences. The 4 kb and 0.5 kb bands are 3 times as intense as other bands for easy identification.

Load 5 uL of the marker and run at 120 V for 40 minutes
Each band has 20 - 30 ng of DNA except for the 4 kb and 0.5 kb bands which are 3x brighter
